An adaption of a still very popular Hungarian film from the thirties. The piece owes its timeless popularity to the light-hearted story and the sweet songs that became evergreen hits known to all in Hungary. Thanks to that, the performance can be a perfect choice even for foreigners without Hungarian skills if they are seeking pleasant entertainment in Pécs.
PLOT
The bank CEO János Szűcs is a notorious womanizer but getting fed up with this life style, this time he plans to travel for a vacation alone, as far away from women as possible. While he is out buying a new car, he suddenly notices a beautiful young woman and immediately falls in love with her. Vera, the young girl turns out to be a new employee of his bank therefore Szűcs must conceive of a secret plan so as to get close to the girl in disguise and gain her love as a common man, not as a tycoon. He purchases the car for Vera secretly, arranging it as if it would be the present of the dealership for being her the 10.000th customer, and afterwards he offers her his services as a driver. Their adventures begin when Vera and her alleged driver leave for a vacation.
