Viola, az idősödő özvegy ápolónő nyugdíjas otthonba vonul, hogy hátralévő éveit nyugalomban és biztonságban töltse. Az otthonban azonban szembesül a ténnyel, hogy meg kell osztania szobáját egy furcsa, barátságtalan és rendkívül merev matrónával, Paulával.
Vajon sikerül megtalálniuk a közös hangot? A két teljesen eltérő természetű öreg hölgy képes lesz-e megtanulni együtt élni? Hogyan fonódik össze a múlt és a jelen kettejük életében, mi az a sötét titok, ami beárnyékolja kettejük kapcsolatát mindörökre? A kényszerű összezártság számtalan komikus helyzetet teremt, melyben kibontakozik kettőjük igazi jelleme és különbözősége!

The orchestra’s rehearsal room not only serves experimenting with the tiniest details of the symphonic pieces to be performed or playing chamber music, but also as the venue for educating the next generation of classical music lovers.
Iván Fischer was requested by the Berlin Konzerthaus to compose an opera for children based on Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s world-famous picture book, The Gruffalo. The humorous opera now premieres in Hungary in translation by Ádám Nádasdy. The production is recommended for children between the ages of 3 and 10.
